Antonino di Miceli, the son of Bernardo di Miceli and Orsola Gallo, is born on 9 December 1837 in Corleone.[1]
Antonino marries Rosalia Crapa, daughter of Tommaso Crapa and Biagia Vintaloro, on 14 September 1862. His mother has died.[2]
Antonino and Rosalia have three known children: Orsola Benedetta (1864), Bernardo (1882), and Biagio (1885).
Orsola Benedetta is born and baptized on 17 February 1864 in Corleone. Her godfather is Carmelo Pennino, who is unmarried.[3] Orsola is named after her paternal grandmother.
Note the long gap between births.
Bernardo is born and baptized 29 June 1882 in Corleone. His godparents are his paternal uncle Giuseppe di Miceli and his wife, Giuseppa Rao.[4] Bernardo is named after his paternal grandfather. His uncle and aunt were also the godparents of Fratuzzi boss Giuseppe Battaglia’s daughter, Orsola, in 1876.
Biagio is born and baptized on 28 February 1885 in Corleone. His godparents are Vincenzo Piazza and Carmela Cerniglia, son and mother.[5]
Death of Antonino
Antonino is killed at age 55 (b. 1837) on 3 May 1892. His wife survives him.[6]
Gioachino Lima, a cart driver from Corleone, and married to Maria Morello (the sister of Giuseppe Morello), vanished from there in 1892 when an arrest warrant was issued for him for the death of Antonino Di Miceli. Lima is also a suspect in the shooting of American police detective Joseph Petrosino, in Palermo, in 1909.[7]

Research Notes
No baptism has been found in the indices for a daughter named Biagia or a son named Tommaso between 1864-1892. (Baptisms are indexed by order of baptismal name, and it is highly customary in Corleone for the second daughter to be named after her maternal grandmother.) Cascio-10 00:54, 6 April 2023 (UTC)
